Top 7 things to consider when choosing a MacBook case

\The following 7 factors are things to consider before buying your MacBook Case. I learned the hard way, after buying some good and bad ones and I'll give you my factors and resources so you'll buy the right case the first time.

1. Color - when choosing a cover for your MacBook it is important to choose a color that you really enjoy, because it's going to be something you look at day in and day out.

2. Fit - when choosing a case for your MacBook make sure to choose the correct model case that fits appropriately on your MacBook. Look for the specs in the product description and make sure it matches your MacBook shell.

3. Design - when viewing different types of MacBook cases, it is important to know what the case will cover. Choosing a case that has an opening in the back of the laptop will allow you to open your MacBook at a wider angle. You must also consider the openings that will allow you to plug-in power cord, Ethernet cord, and etc.

4. Logo - considering whether to purchase a case that has the Apple logo or the case without the logo opening. This is more of a personal choice; my preference is choosing a case that has the Apple logo which allows a cut out of the Apple to shine. I feel that it not only doesn't affect the protection of the MacBook but it makes it look better.

5. Material-when choosing your MacBook cover, consider what type of material the case is made of. I have a crystal case, you can see through it yet it is very hard and protects my MacBook very well. There is also cases that are made of the same material but with a coating that gives the case a rubber feel so it's soft to the touch, yet hard and durable.

6. Price - when choosing a case it is not wise to choose the cheapest, wise to consider whether you plan on keeping the case for a long time or a short period of time. Personally I like to change it up every once in a while so I have more than one case but both of a higher quality so that they last longer, and they range from 30 -40. No more than that.

7. Where - when shopping online for your MacBook case it's best to shop at smaller retailers. Shopping at small online retailers, you'll get a good price and great service unlike shopping at eBay or Amazon. Personally, I only shop at one place,and that place is MyMacBookCase.com
